5 Killer Reasons, Why You Should Start Your Internet Business Slowly
You may have seen tons of get rich quick promises all over the Net. Right? Do not believe them, they are not from this world, they are 100 % unrealistic scams.
But why to start slowly? Good question, but there is a good answer to that, which you just have to follow in order to make your new internet business to work successfully.
The reason comes from the nature of this business, when you start without earlier experience. You see, to learn the internet business is the same as if you would go into the high quality business school with the target to graduate as a master of science.

You Online Success-How Committed Are You?
This article today is going to be very pointed and abrupt. The reason being that I come into contact with large amounts of people. Initially they nearly always tell me how dedicated they are to an online project of some sort, and they really need to know exactly how to go about learning exactly the steps needed in getting a website to a top position. I tell them step by step the process involved, the different internet marketing strategies that I have formulated that work for me. I hold no info back. I am more than happy to assist them in building their business.
Do you want to know the really funny thing here? Almost none of them take this great advice and actually put it into motion. They call time after time and want more information and I go through actual processes once again, and still, they do nothing at all. This has happened time after time in my experience both as a search engine optimization specialist and as an seo trainer.
I am wondering if there are only a few of us around on the net today that actually do the work? I am wondering if it has nothing at all to do with making money, but possibly it is some sort of social networking thing going on here? Look, bottom line here. I feel that absolutely anyone can learn effective Google marketing strategies and obtain notoriety on the net. I did. I am nothing special. So back to the original question. Can you make money online. I don't have a clue. If you have glued to yourself some nonsensical guilt about making money, then I doubt very seriously that you can. What ever you think you are, that is what you will become. This is a universal law and it is very unforgiving. It works with cold calculating reality with no emotion involved. If you are the type of person that wishes to condemn, criticize and complain about every person, place and thing on this planet, then you will achieve your ultimate goal on no success. If, on the other hand, you decide right now to become all that you ever thought you can be, you will achieve that as well.
I would urge you to view your objectives in your online pursuits. Its never about the money or the lack of money, it all about you. Its all about who you are and what you choose to become. I hope that you choose life! I hope that you will get to the marrow of life in your online business.

Learn the Ropes to Internet Marketing - Before You Spend a Dime
Since there are so many money making opportunities online and each with it's own learning curve I figured I would do some research what it takes to be an online marketer. While my knowledge is still limited I have compiled a nice 10 page guide on what everyone seems to be talking about on online marketing. I will just go over the basics here in this article of what I've found.
The first thing people want to know is "How do I start an online business"? The quickest and least expensive way is affiliate programs. Affiliate programs are setup like traditional business offering referral incentives to it's customers. Affiliates earn commissions for referring customers to merchants and purchase a product or sign up for a service.
The next thing people want to know after knowing "what", is which one? While this will vary from person to person because of the different types of hobbies or as marketer are calling it "niches". In short pick a program that is highly related to something you know a lot about. You will have more luck offering a fishing pole to someone if you have a great fishing story to share about the pole, instead of offering a fishing pole and saying I hear it's a great pole go ahead and try it.
After the would be marketer has joined their affiliate program how do they promote it? Promoting something requires exposure for the product or service. Long term exposure is created by having your own website and blog. A simple search on the Internet will provide you with these two tools and just to cut back on time on your sake use 110mb and weebly. 110mb is free web hosting and weebly is free blog hosting. You could use blogger or some other already setup service but this is just for practice and learning the ropes. They are both free and easy to setup once you visit their sites.
For your blog start with a front page that explains what the site is about in the example above you would use fishing. In you blog you would be able to start telling fish stories, best fishing spots, best equipment to use and in your blogs content you would want to link some keywords to your affiliate links. This will provide valuable content for your future visitors. After you have a few blog posts setup and your affiliate links in place you will be able to go to the next step and from the research, the next step is being able to build a list.
Why is a list so important? A list is just a "list" of email addresses you collect by having people them "opt-in" to something like a newsletter or training course through email. The reason for having a list goes back to exposure. The more exposure you get the visitors you get. You can market to your list directly or remind them about your blog and invite them to come back to see what's been added since their initial visit. Remember your affiliate links are hidden in your blogs, so you will want new and repeat traffic.

The page with our opt-in box will need to be created in a way to provide enough information to be of value for the visitor, it will also need to be setup in a way that uses keywords that the search engines and people visiting find relevant to what they are looking for. This step is know as SEO or search engine optimization. While there are varying opinions on whether it's necessary it never hurts to try all the techniques out there to get free higher rankings in search engines. You will have to perform a search on Google to find tips on creating landing pages and SEO techniques once you get to this step.
Your opt-in box will need to come from somewhere and if you don't know how to program to build your own you will want to use an autoresponder. While this article is about learning for free I wouldn't recommend using free autoresponders for your actual business. One reason is two of the autoresponders I have tried, freeautobot and autoresponders4all seem to have website issues. Freeautobot has had a history of disappearing for a few hours to a few days without word from admin. Autoresponders4all wouldn't even let me sign up for an account just says check back later. The others out there either attach banner ads to each email sent or severely limit the number of opt-ins your are allowed for free. Still for learning purposes you can use freeautobot when the site is working. This will at least give you a start on adding the form to the site, entering in the autoresponses and testing it yourself.
This brings us to exposure. Getting your name or business out there is the most time consuming things to do. And have also found out it can be costly if you go about it the wrong way. While paid traffic is less time consuming and once mastered can be very cost effective in getting targeted traffic. Again we want to get exposure for free. There are different places to post your ad for free. This would include free classifieds, traffic, banner and link exchanges, blog commenting, forum participation and article marketing.
Once you have used all the techniques in this article there are still more techniques to use to be a successful affiliate marketer. This should at least get someone started enough to feel confident to start paying for the services needed to give a professional appearance. Unseen Uses for Google Adsense...
When I started using Google adsense I did so by signing up with the Google Cash Machine. I found the information enthralling and couldnt wait to get to the end and at last understand why numerous sites displayed Google ads. As I soaked up the information on how you can make money by displaying Google ads on your web site. I was introduced to terms like keyword generation, overture and adsense, adwords, site maps to name but a few.
As the realisation dawned that you can create webs sites, based on keywords that are specific to niche subjects, which will display content sensitive Google ads, which can then earn you moneyboom it hit me like a bomb. It suddenly struck me that here was a complete new area of the web that I had not previously explored, and one that had more potential to make me money than any of those HYIPs, MLMs and web superstores.

At last I had produced my first Google Cash Machine web site based on keywords about Flight, cheap flights, cheap flights Spain, etc. I put the site up as a sub site of my galaxies-private-income.ws domain. What next? Submit the site to Google adsense so that it knows about your channel. (Website).
Having submitted it, I wondered how I would know when it was making me money.
Some hours later I logged onto Google adsense and selected reports. There for me to see was the number of hits on my first Google cash machine website. The numbers were nothing to write about, but it did strike me as odd that back in the days when I put my first web site up I struggled to find a hit counter. Eventually I did, but here on my Google adsense report page was a comprehensive report of my site how many hits and page impressions received, you can even select a date range. However, I digress, rather than continuing to extol the virtues of Google adsense reporting tools this rather brings me to the point of this article.
And that is.
That even if I dont make millions out of my new found knowledge and experience with Google ads I have found a great way of tracking page hits and impressions on any website I may create, with great reporting and best of all its Free.

How To Make Money Online With Elance
Do you write? Can you string together words and sentences like this? Would you like to make a few extra bucks (maybe more) without the hassles of a traditional job? You would? Then welcome to the wonderful world of freelance writing on Elance.
-- What is Elance?
Elance is a website forum, a marketplace that allows people from all over the world to actively participate in buying and selling their products and services. As a freelance writer you can offer your writing services with very little effort on your part. If you can surf the web, use email and generally communicate in English (yup, its the principal language used on Elance) then you are pretty much good to go.
-- How Does It Work?
Its quite simple; Elance is a subscription based website that charges you a small fee to become a member. At the time of writing basic monthly subscriptions begin at $30. Once youre registered you can browse all the active (open) projects and bid on the ones that interest you. As a member you can even set up a personal store front (profile) and showcase your products and services to potential buyers (and its not unusual to get direct enquiries from buyers this way.)
-- If Your Bid Is Chosen
If your bid is selected you will get the chance to decide if you want to proceed with the project or not. If you decide to go ahead then you and the buyer enter into an agreement (Elance provides templates and samples at no charge.) You provide the services to the buyer and the buyer pays you what they promised simple.
Elance gets a small commission on all projects that are awarded. But dont worry, there is no cost to you for winning projects thats the buyers responsibility and the buyer will be billed directly (it doesnt even come out of the agreed project payments!)
-- So How Much Work Is Available To You?
Thats a good question; after all if you are going to spend at least $30 a month on a basic subscription, you really need to figure out if the subscription is worth it. The number of open projects varies, however its not unusual to find between 150 and 200 writing projects available at any given time.
-- And How Much Are These Projects Worth?
There are currently two types of project postings on Elance: BASIC and SELECT. If you have only chosen a basic membership then you can only bid on Basic projects. You will need a Select membership to bid on the select projects.
And the reason you would buy a select membership is simple select projects pay more, are less likely to end without being awarded (yes there are people on Elance who post projects to get a feel for the market and have no intention of actually awarding the project!)
So back to the main question how much are the projects really worth? Again, this data varies over time (I cover this and more in my new report on www.ElanceExposed.com), however heres a quick rule of thumb that Ive found to be fairly accurate: If you multiply all the number of open projects by $250 and multiply that again by 70% you will get a fairly good idea. For example, 200 open projects X $250 X 70% = $35,000
-- But What About the Big Projects?
There are big projects on Elance, they get posted infrequently but they are available. As you might imagine these projects are usually posted by companies not people and they usually pay 5 to 10 times what a regular project pays. With this kind of payout you can imagine the competition is quite high, however pitching to a business is not the same as pitching to a person.
-- What About Gotchas And Other Issues?
There arent too many. The biggest one that springs to mind is that Elance currently does not offer a refund policy on their subscriptions. You actually have to get on board and sign up to get a feel for the Elance market. And to be quite frank, you really need to give yourself a fighting chance and sign up for three months.
If you signed up for a three month Select membership you would currently pay $150 USD. Thats not a huge amount of money, but it is a bit steep if you find out that Elance is not for you.
